Always there in emergencies

Floods, earthquakes, conflict – Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) teams are there to respond when emergency strikes, whenever and wherever medical humanitarian needs arise. 

The priorities after an emergency will vary, but often our action includes activities which provide access to medical care through 

  • Trauma and emergency surgery 
  • Emergency distributions of relief items for hygiene and shelter 
  • Delivery of medical supplies, medicines and equipment  
  • Water and sanitation activities 
  • Maternal, obstetric and neonatal care 
  • Mental healthcare and psychosocial support services 

Many of these emergencies can cripple a healthcare system, cutting people off from vital services they need. By making a donation, you can keep our teams right beside our patients. Will you support our emergency crisis work?
